Astronomy 2009 - The Book

Quasar Publishing has been producing these annual publications since 1991. These yearbooks are written by Australians for Australians.

This is available through various book, telescope and Australian Geographic shops. It can also be ordered directly from Quasar Publishing. Those ordering directly from Quasar will also get a letter once a year announcing the availability of the next edition and an order form. Our mailing list is confidential and is shared with nobody ie. No junk mail will be generated from a Quasar database.

This yearbook has been designed for anyone who looks at the night sky whether they are using just their eyes, a pair of binoculars or a telescope. The book has something for everyone from the basic novice up to the advanced amateur astronomer. This includes those with a casual interest who might just want to know, "what is that bright star next to the Moon?"
